I,am a contractor having a plumbing problem. I redid a bath room all new lines ,and hot water tank. I came off the main supply to tank from tank to shower ,
then to double bowl vanity . hot. Came off main line cold hit commode, shower ,
Then vanity. For some reason don,t have cold at vanity. Ican turn on hot water on one side of vanity then water will come out of cold side on other faucet. Strange to me never run up on this before.
Thanks for any quick response Plumbtired.:D

After thinking . Suppose cold is blocked . When i turn on the hot lets pressure off cold side lets a little water through.

What kind of lav faucets are they? Wide spread or 4" CC
The piping still exposed? Can't see it so it's hard to say.
Did you try disconnecting the the water supply to the faucets to make sure it's not the new piping or just a problem with the faucets.
If you solve it let us know how it turned out.

Solved it today . The faucets were bypassing . On the subject of not having cold water to them .
This is a first for me . Used cpvc what the homeowner wanted. When i glued one of the couplings , over glued.
The glue made a bubble inside the coupling, dried that way would not let water through. Had to search some to find the problem.
This might be one for the books. About drove me crazy. Thanks plumbtired.

Glad you figured that out.

I had a job once where a rock got into a copper water system
It made it through a 3/4" line, jammed in a 3/4 x 1/2 x 1/2 tee and cut off the water flow.
Finally found it.
