Hello,
Apologies if I am not using correct plumbing terminology, I am novice in plumbing science.
Bathroom faucet is leaking water from elbow connector. I cleaned the drain with the snake and used unclogging liquid, seems better but not sure if drain is still clogged.
Album of hopefully helpful photos is here
I am a bit concerned about water spots on the back wall of the cabinet:
This is not Sheetrock, but wooden wall of the cabinet. I am not sure if something is leaking from behind the cabinet or just some water my wife spilled when tub under the drain overfilled.
As you can see in this photo the water does not sit on the bottom of the elbow connector. Is where the water is as in photo acceptable or should it be much lower at the elbow bottom?
Lastly, when the drain is clogged the water does not go up to the sink, but escapes from the connection between elbow and vertical pipe that goes up to the sink. I changed the washer, and made sure connection is tight, but still elbow and vertical connector into sink is leaking water. If I push the elbow up then water doesn't escape that much, but my concern is that if drain gets a bit clogged again it will escape from the connector.
Here is the video of water escaping from the connector:

I appreciate any help you might offer.
