Hi everyone! I’m a beginner beginner and need assistance. Please bare with me as I try to explain best I can lol I do actually have a question in regards to replacing only the trim and handle (I’m very new and still learning what’s called what lol) not the valve or the cartridge. I found out the trim which in my understanding is the sleeve, back plate and handle is compatible with my existing cartridge. The cartridge is a Delta RP19804 and the trim is a Delta 14 series. Everything went well no leaks but I cannot get the handle connected with the set screw that came with the trim some how it’s too small for even the handle and the other set screw is too big. I cannot find a straight anywhere on what piece I need to get to make this happen. I’ve attacked pictures of what the inside of the handle looks like and the stem from the cartridge. Thank you so much in advance. Ive attached pictures of the handle and the cartridge stemIMG_1267.jpegIMG_1266.jpegIMG_1267.jpeg

Your handle is damaged. It should be the same shape as the cartridge stem.

Get a new handle.

This portion of the handle looks like a mistake in the machining process. It should be the same shape as the stem in all other Delta products I’ve installed. Maybe this one model is different but I doubt it.

Yes, all the newer style handles use set screws.
