I am about to change plumbing for a small area of my house from 1/2 copper to PEX. Long story behind it but it is for a laundry room- 2 hot lines and 2 cold lines. Currently the whole room is fed by a single hot and a single cold that run from the basement and then branch out at the fixtures. I am also replacing the shutoff valves for the sink and washing machine as part of the project. I have a tee for the hot and a tee for the cold, the 4 shutoff valves, copper to PEX fittings for each valve, copper to PEX for the supply in the basement, and the cutters, crimper and collars- using ss for this. I need to get the plastic hangers still since I forgot them. Anything else I may need or should consider? If this goes well, Im considering other PEX conversions, so I will have the materials and some experience to build on- for some other projects I might consider manifolds but for this project that is out of scope. Let me know. Thanks!
