Plumber came and added a Recirc Pump to my setup but he did it this way. Image attached.

I installed the comfort valve on the further most faucet. But when i put the Grundfos recirc pump on the Hot Water Heater does not come on and i still don't get water quickly, takes up-to 6-7 minutes? I also see no check-valves in the plumbing install. I see a Ball Valve (which i believe is a shutoff valve) but no check values.

I've marked the Return Line with Red (B) and the Cold Line (A) with Blue

I think this is a wrong setup. Any suggestions please ?

If you have a dedicated return line you don't use a comfort/crossover valve or pump. You would have a recirculation pump on the return line pumping towards the heater. If the heater has a return port it gets connected there. Otherwise it is tied into the cold line with check valves.
