New here and could use some help ASAP. I have a peerless oil boiler (forced hot air) that is working with a 41 gallon Amtrol Indirect boiler mate. It has started leaking one week after the warranty ran out. Im exploring the options of replacing it with another indirect (probably a superstor or something else stainless steel) as Amtrol does not have a good rep in the Boston area. Or going with an electric 50 gallon Hybrid water heater. The house is approx 1650sqft and with the cost of oil I think I'm burning money running the indirect. My calculation is that the indirect burns about 1 gallon a day to heat the water and at $3.50 per gallon that is expensive. What do you suggest? Your time and feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Not sure what you have. A boiler is used for hot water or steam heat. For it to be forced air you would need a heat ex-changer connected to the boiler.
