Need Help with ABS to PVC conversion

Hello,

I am about to remodel my bathroom and my house is 41 Years Old, it has the black ABS drain Pipe. What is the recomended way to convert from Black ABS to Schedule 40 PVC? I was told there is a special glue that will join both or a mechanical connection opinions on either?. OR am I better off tracking down some ABS pipe and making my adjustments with that?

There is the PVC/ABS glue which would work fine but I personally like to use one medium for a cleaner, more professional look.
