Need help connecting sink to drain

Hi,
I'm trying to install a sink but the drain is confusing me. The sink tailpiece is an Everbilt pipe, the drain is PVC, and I cannot find out how to connect them. They both claim to be 1 1/2" but they are not the same size. What do i need to use to connect these things? Thanks!

look for PVC DWV Hub x Slip joint adapter.

Go to the store and get a 1 1/2" "trap adapter". That will glue onto the schedule 40 pic drain pipe, and will accept the 1 1/2" tubular trap leg.
