Trying to replace kitchen faucet on deep kitchen sink.
Faucet is a single hole unit with retractable sink sprayer.
The nut on the underside of the faucet is huge! By my measurement it is 1 1/2 ".
Normal basin wrench will not go around it to break loose. Due to depth of sink the working room is very small. I can just barely get a large crescent wrench on the nut at a very steep angle, and the wrench slips off when ever I exert a large amount of twisting action to try and break nut loose.
The counter tops are granite, so the sink is suspended from the bottom, making it impossible to remove the sink to get full access to this nut.
Thanks for any suggestions.
