My Toilet Fills Extremely Slow

I watch a bunch of Youtube videos; none of them relate to my toilet, because the inside of the tank is different.
It's a comfort height, dual-flush. There is no water coming out of the tube, somehow it's filling up, maybe that's why or maybe the water is just coming out at a different spot?

The tank doesn't fill from the white tube, but from ports at the bottom of that assembly. And that white tube should be inserted into the holder at the top of that larger round overflow tube. But as there is no water coming out of that white tube, and the tank is filling slowly, you need to replace the fill valve. That is the assembly with the float on the left of your picture.

I'm sure your fill valve (doohicky on the left) is full of sediment. Go down to a local hardware store and purchase a Fluidmaster 400 and replace it. Just make sure that you turn off the incoming water line first!

I gained significant fill time by removing the swirled insert at the bottom of the valve where it exits the tank.

The black round thing is too big for the toilet, unfortunately. It sticks to the back of the tank and we don't know how to adjust it to the correct level, for it runs continuously.

You should be able to rotate the fill valve, so it does not rub the back of the toilet. That valve doesn't need to be positioned any particular way. If it doesn't fit because the tank is quite small, you may need a specific fill valve, but I've never had a problem fitting a Fluidmaster valve in a tank.

What they call EZ-twist adjusts the height of the fill valve so that it fits below the top of the toilet. The instructions are pretty clear, although the plastic parts are sometimes a little stiff. The water adjusting screw sets the level of the water in the tank.

We couldn't get it, we tried installing it and rotating it, but it's not compatible with the tank, now the old one won't fill for some reason, so there i no fill valve in it.

Since you live in Canada, it is possible that is a unique toilet, which may be common in your area. Most of our members are from the US, and parts, for the most part, are easily swapped out.

The double flush valve is an R&T brand. This R&T fill valve looks like it is smaller and may possibly work.
