Hi ..New to the forum so thanks in advance for making it available!

I am going to install a bath tub/shower combo where there was just a shower. See pics.

Shower had center drain in concrete slab: house built in 80's I believe So. Cal
* when facing tub...
The tub would be a left hand drain as the copper pipes from existing shower are on the left (an exterior) wall side..

Toilet and vanity are on the right wall.

I opened up the floor, dug out around the drain & ptrap and found the 3 copper lines going across...up thru the base plate of the wall to the shower valve.

They seem to be in the way of moving the drain for the tub.
And, I need to know what you recommend to get it right.

The OTHER SIDE of the opposite wall is another bathroom with a shower tub combo (toilet & vanity side) and has copper for the sink in the pic...

* is the black pipe the vent portion?
* can or should I cut the copper in the ground & re-route?
* how to vent properly if necessary on left?

Any lines that can be rerouted through the wall & ceiling while you have them open would be the best thing to do. You can also notch the wall plate and move the lines out of the way. If you cut them undrer the slab Silver Braze the joints. Don't just solder them.

I would put a right hand tub in. The existing drain is going to the right. The trap arm for the tub to the exiting vent is to long.
To put a left hand tub you will need to run a vent up in the left wall.

The toilet is on the right side wall and the sink vanity beside that...to the right.
Toilet is staying put so it would be inconvenient to have right hand tub...

So we need a vent through the roof then to keep it on the left?

And if I do a cut out in the plate...I would cut the lines ABOVE the plate...move them out of the way underneath
and sweat the new connection(s)
I can't tell where they are coming from down there...the lines for the faucet on the opposing wall maybe?
Can I reroute through the 2x4 to the new valve??

Any idea?
Is silver brazing...using silver over/ on top of solder? Or in place of?

Thanks for helping with this

Any input on the last few questions?
I'm hoping for some more input so I can get the project done...
Thanks again,
D ****
And I have broken the concrete out to free up around the lines but haven't cut anything yet
