Moen faucet cartridge replacement help needed

I need to replace a cartridge in a Moen bathroom sink faucet, but I can figure out how to remove the gray part in the photos. I was able to remove the cartridge retaining clip. The gray part does not unscrew and there is no clip holding it on.

Any help would be appreciated.

As usual, removing parts can be a bear, because of dried minerals in your water acting like glue or a boulder.
Try pouring vinegar or clr in opening and let sit an hour.

I am not a fan of those links, I am old and slow, I need to be gently shuffled right into the sweet spot, haha.

Good video but normally those cartridges do not come out that easy. I always use a cartridge puller.
