measuring length of tridicator for utica

I need to replace my leaking tridicator, I have gone to utica and have a model number of the part. The replacement part says 2". Where is that measurement coming from? I posted pictures to show my measurement as I want to order the correct part. Model is UTICA SFH-3100WT
