manabloc help please

this may be the dumbest question ever ask you. And some of you probably will get a big chuckle.

I thought with the manablock valve that it only turns around a quarter of a turn. I can turn mine freely. I need to turn off to repair a faucet. Instead of a quarter turn I can turn the valves many times and did not ever hit a stopping point. I've tried both counter and clockwise. I am at a total loss here. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

try turning it just a 1/4 turn (90 degrees) and see if that doesnt shut it off. Sounds like you have a stop broken. It still should shut off. It just wont stop at full open or full closed. Thats my guess anyways.
