Hi all - I have a question about a potential sewer drain project at my house and I am looking for some specific guidance.
I am staill very much in the preliminary planning stages of a pool house in the back yard, where I would like to have a functioning full bathroom. It is a longer run but I am wondering if I can utilize a naturally draining system the way that I have drawn it out.
1.) I live in North Florida, so there is no concern around frost lines.
2.) I would like to ATTEMPT to tie into my existing drain clean out on the front of my home (I do not yet know the depth of the pipe run to the sewer at the street so that will need to be figured out sooner than later obviously.)
3.) The black run would have a 45 degree turn, as well as a 90 degree turn which I would like to understand as far as potential complications or if it is even allowed.
4.) The red run would be a potential addition in the future that I would want to tie into the black run but that could be 2 years down the line. I am providing it for full context on future plans.
5.) I am operating on the assumption that a 1/8" per foot drop is sufficient with 4" pipe, putting my total drop at ~21" from the depth of the pool house drain.
I am really looking for an education on this sort of run and what I need to know as I continue to develop the plan for later this year.
Thanks so much for all your input.
