Heat-Flo 40. Unfortunately, my info regarding the sac Anode was wrong. Leaking like mad now.
May be a week or 2 before I can get someone to do an install, if I can find another Heat-Flo.
What should I shut off, valve, power, etc after the morning use to minimize the leak or am I just f'd?

not leaking from anode thread. It appears to be leaking from the relief valve. That was changed a few months back when I thought that was the problem.
Then I changed out the anode. The old anode was down to the nub so I figured I was screwed, but since the anode was in and paid for, cross fingers. heh, heh, heh.
But it may be leaking from the bottom as well, just can't see.
Do i need to close the valves to/from the boiler as well? That's a Slant Fin BobCat. Both are the same installation time period. 2011.

Is Heat-Flo still a good make or are there other comparable in price that are better?
I see Burnham mentioned a lot.

guess there is no power, per se. Looks like the aquastat is wired to the Slant Fin Bobcat with 24v. I gather I can leave the Slant Fin powered?
Just valve off the cold supply?

wait 8 hours or so? Dunno if it'll be hot enough today to evaporate what's on the floor. I assume, if there is still water on the floor, the tank is leaking from other than the PRV, IE: the bottom?
I did check the Slant Fin, other than the very slow drip into the sump pump, nothing coming off it.
Wish the Heat Flo had been installed so the pedestal blocks revealed the bottom to me.

about how long should it take to get hot water back once powered on?

it stopped. Darn the Luck ! ! !
Any thoughts on another Heat-Flo or Burnham or Rheem?
Or 6 of one, mi's'well get the Rheem, a lot less expensive.

seems to be. not suprising I guess, considering how long from install it was until I changed the anode.
