Leaking pipe on side of house

Hello All,

Can anybody help identify this pipe that is constantly leaking water? Originally I though it could have been attached to the AC or Water Heater. But the AC drip pipe its further back near the outside unit. I check the water heater thinking it could have been attached to pressure relief valve, but when I opened the valve water leaked inside the garage. My utility bill doesn't appear to be effected by the constant stream of water, but I'd like to figure what is causing it so I can get it fixed. Any help will be truly appreciated!

Need more info. What's on the other side of the wall? Doesn't look like an Air conditioner condensate drain. Do you have a water softener or acid neutralizer? It could be backwash water from on of those.

Hi, right above the leaking pipe is an outside faucet and on the other side of the wall is my garage. My water hear is located in the garage but its further towards the back maybe 15-20ft. the leaking pipe is on the exterior right side of wall approx. 2ft from the garage door. I don't have any water softeners or acid neutralizers installed.

Sounds like you're saying that this pipe is not visible from inside the garage because it too low. Like it's in, or under, the slab.

Do you have any pipe in the garage that enters the floor slab anywhere?
Where does the AC drip pipe drip to?
Do you have a sump?
It's has to be coming from somewhere.
Is there ALWAYS water coming out of the line?
Is it cold water?
If you can't find anything that enters the floor slab you could try blocking its flow and see what happens.

You mentioned the P&T relief valve on your water heater saying..."when I opened the valve water leaked inside the garage." Wasn't it obvious that it wasn't connected to something and would just dump on the floor. Just asking in case I'm missing some important detail.

You are correct there's no visible pipe inside the garage going towards the pipe that is leaking.
The AC drip pipe is by the outdoor AC unit. I can see water dripping out of the pvc pipe.
No sump installed.
Yes there's always water coming out of the pipe. If I'm put by finger over the end of the pipe there's slight pressure. Like there could be air coming out of it as well if that makes any sense.
Yes the water is cold.

lol yeah regarding the PT relief I had some stuff obstructing my view. so I just quickly opened the valve and listened for water.

when you say " The AC drip pipe is by the outdoor AC unit. I can see water dripping out of the pvc pipe."...... if your outside unit is a HEAT PUMP, it has a separate drain for it, that comes out of the unit, not out of the wall of the house.....??

It is a out side pressure relief valve on cold water pipe to relieve excess pressure from thermal expansion, the spring has weaken over the years so will need a replacement valve and a thermal expansion tank installed over the water heater, google it, when you install new valve remove the copper mip adp, and install on new valve per code to keep somebody from plugging the valve

So this is a pressure relief on the cold water side in addition to the T&P on the water heater?
So then he should be able to see a cold water pipe entering the floor slab somewhere. Hopefully.

Coincidentally, there is an outside faucet just above that leaking line. I suppose that relief line be connected to the line feeding the outside faucet but upstream of the that faucets interior shutoff valve.
I would think the connection should be visible. ??

Thank you MASTRPLUMB - It was the pressure relief valve. I was able to get a replacement part from Lowe's for a couple bucks. I don't have Thermal Expansion installed so I just replaced the part and it hasn't leak yet.
