KOHLER K-690-CP Vinnata Kitchen Faucet Spout Loosening from Valve Body

Hi all,

I have just realized a threaded insert in the bottom of the spout of this Kohler single-handle faucet has begun to back out of the faucet's valve body, as shown in the attached photos. Trying to tighten it with needle-nose pliers results in only partial success.

Can anyone assist me in the steps needed to resecure this faucet's spout? I greatly appreciate your time and assistance.
