kit.faucet sticky

I installed a new Kohler single handle Kitchen faucet (Coralais), and after a few months now the lever is kinda sticky and squeeky feeling. I disassembled and used silicone lubricant on any sliding surface, it works fine but lately it feels like the problem is reoccurring...any suggestions?

Bad cartridge. Call Kohler they should send you a new one free of charge.
