Good morning people.
I have a small domestic water seap from the plastic pipe coming out of the ground under my mobile home.
It's leaking from the brass barbed fitting (3/4" npt to .86" barb or just under 7/8") which is held into the plastic pipe (Close to 1" o.d. and 13/16" inside diameter) with two SS worm drive clamps.
What kind of plastic water pipe do I have? It has clear plastic pipe covered with black plastic.
And second.. Whats the best or correct way to connect the plastic pipe to the barbed fitting? Iv heard to heat up or soften the plastic before inserting the brass barbed fitting.. Or vise versa and heat the brass fitting?
I don't want to do this twice in this god forsaken spot.
