This is going to be such a silly question to professionals but I'm scared so I thought better safe than sorry.
I was able to light up the pilot flame and instead of turning the knob to on, by mistake and distracted I turned it off. How long should I wait to relight pilot light? I've been taught to wait 5 min once I noticed it off and before I started the lighting process. But this is different I guess (or not).l since I've let the gas run for full 1 min in the pilot-light lighting process. Not sure so hoping to get an answer here. I'm on hold with GE and wait time is 1 hour and half currently lol.
