Dear experts,
The picture below shows a drain pipe in the basement. There is a toilet in the powder room above that sits directly on the top of this pipe. The two side branches are drains from the powder room sink and a laundry sink. Each has a separate vent pipe. There is also a drain for the washer joining the drain just below the P-trap under the laundry sink. Is this arrangement acceptable in principle and in Ontario in particular?
