Here is another general question for you all: Is a PVD nickel finish (over either brass or another metal) on faucets that much better than a standard nickel finish over solid brass? I am looking at faucets for my bathroom sink and my first choice is a standard nickel finish over solid brass (by Kingston Brass.)
My second choice has a PVD nickel finish, but it doesn't advertise brass, so I assume that it isn't brass. (it is the Glacier Bay rebranding of the identical Pegasus "Lyndhurst" model.)
Is regular nickel over solid brass better than, or not as good as pvd nickel over a non-brass metal?
Just wondering. This might help others faucet shopping as well. Thanks in advance.
