The guys that installed my granite counter top drilled the wrong size hole for our soap dispenser and there's a lot of slop. Tightening the nut keeps the dispenser in place...until it starts to loosen and then the dispenser rotates and will move back and forth. The whole is at least 1/8" too big, maybe 1/4" (I haven't gotten under the cabinet to unscrew the mounting nut yet).
I've been searching the internet for soap dispensers and surprisingly the mounting hole size isn't listed for many of them.
My question is, is the mounting hole size standard for all soap dispensers or should I try to look for one that will fit the hole diameter?
If I can't find one that will fit, I'll install a plastic bushing to take up the slop but I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time trying to find a dispenser that will fit the hole if they're all the same size.
Thanks!

Can always just get the counter top replaced. They drilled the hole too big so it's their responsbility to replace it now.

You're kidding, right?
It was a lot easier for me to buy a $7 bushing than have my kitchen torn up again!
BTW, I have now spent more time shopping for a soap dispenser than I ever imagined was possible.
The recommended hole size ranges from 1" to 1-1.4" with 1-1/8" being in the majority.

Wasn't sure if everything was done or if they had just put down the counter if everything is done that yeah a bushing is a lot easier

You could always make a quick shim out of plumber's putty. It would set up hard enough that you'd never notice it was there, after you install the escutcheon.
