Please help. I can’t figure out the following:

-faucet brand
- how to remove faucet (“winged” part that won’t budge obstructs removal from counter top hole)
- cartridge type/brand ( 2-inch stem 12 point broach)

I’ve been trying to figure all of this out for 2 days now. I really appreciate any help getting unstuck.

Thank you,
Jae

i would use an extendable basin wrench for both loosening the bottom connection first
thanks Geofd I will try a basin wrench soon — getting one today. hopefully it will do the trick! It really won’t budge.

Maybe the winged part pushes up to release the tee fittings.
Otherwise, you need to release the valve body from above.

Thanks breplum, the winged part won’t budge in any direction. I‘ve tried pushing upward, pulling downward and twisting (though not yet with extendable basin wrench). It won’t budge. Not sure how to release valve body from above. here is picture from counter top. Will try pushing and pulling again. Thanks again. B285D215-E1F4-488C-A9E6-0283CE719B69.jpeg

It Pfister, pull down on the winged plastic piece, you’ve already removed the retaining clip that holds it in place

Thanks Rickyman, you’re right there was a clip! I am sorry I forgot to include that. It sounds like you are experienced with this setup. Pfister — thanks.

I have tried pulling downward a lot, forcefully, and it will not budge. I have tried pushing, pulling and twisting, it never moved in the slightest In any direction. if it is supposed to release downward— any tips on how to release it when it won’t budge?

Here’s the video

Thanks Rickyman, perfect video. It is exactly what I am working with. Good to know how the design is supposed to work — of course looks so easy in video. I just tried it as the video instructed — it is completely stuck.

Thank you guys for solving the mysteries. Now that I know the brand and how it works — I just need to work on getting it unstuck. Gonna try spraying with wd40 at let it sit for a while before trying again.

thanks again! I no longer am working in the dark.

I think those faucet connectors were designed by Rube Goldberg, with technical assistance by "Murphy".
