Hydronic Radiant Heat Question

Can someone help me on how to operate this system? It's a closed loop system. Not sure how much to open the valve from the water heater? The right white tube is from the water heater (Hot), the left is the return to the water heater (cold). The pump just has a cable to plug in, no switch or anything. Does the pump always have to run? Any help would be great!

What you have looks like someone cobbled it together to make it work. Is there no zone valves or pump controllers? From what I see in the picture, that's a domestic hot water tank too.

From what I can see, the way it's set up is to plug the circulator in and walk away. Unplug it when you're warm. It could definately use some work. It's not proper
