Conventional Gas heating and hot water open vented 3 port valve system with additional 2 radiators added to kitchen extension. See attached file jpeg.
I have had issues with the 2 rads in my kitchen extension. Simply put they did not ever get up to the required temperature to heat the room properly. I tried balancing the system but that never really worked effectively. I think they were too far away from the main system.
So long story short, installed a secondary pump with room thermostat to control that pump only, and it worked like a treat, I thought at first.
What I have noticed is that the radiator in the hallway is not getting hot, only warm. Again, tried balancing, but the pump in the kitchen is not always on so it does not work too well.
It is when the secondary pump is on that the hallway radiator only gets warm.
My idea is to install a Hydraulic Seperator before the 2 rads in the kitchen to resolve this issue
Any advice is appreciated.
