We have a quiet dishwasher but it drains with great force and the gurgling from the air gap is very loud. Not only that but it drains in steps: drain, pause, drain, pause, drain. I'd rather not put a high loop in - I suspect it's not code here - and wonder if anyone makes a "quiet" air gap? I've seen talk about the Zurn but it looks like every other air gap I've seen, at least from the outside.
