Hi, I hope I am in the right forum if anyone can help or answer my questions or direct me to a place where I can find help it would be great, TIA.

let me describe my problem so you will have an idea of whats going on,

first off.. I have a 2 family house which has first floor and second floor...the boiler which is a gas boiler is located in the basement.

my house has 4 rooms on the first floor and 4 rooms on the second...
the problem is... the 3rd room does not have heat coming out of the radiator.. it happens that the room just below this room also does not have heat... the radiator is cold... and I tried opening the valve and closing it... but that did not help.... every other room in the house has Heat coming out of the radiator...
the room used to have heat... that's for sure.. but I have notice recently that the room was a bit cold and I had checked the radiator and found out that no heat was coming out of it.

any clue why I have this problem ?

Yeah, I was hoping Reedwalker might sign on and find this thread. Living here in a subtropical slum, we don't run into a lot of radiator heat supplied by boilers, so I am of no help on this one.

Just an update, I had solved my problem.. I replaced my 10+ year old themostat and now both top and bottom rooms have heat... its really weird how this resolved my problem, I really dont understand the logic to it.. but I am glad... by replacing my thermostat it fixed my problem, Hopefully this can help others who has a similar problem...
