Hi all, have two hairline cracks around shower tray drain, they seem superficial and not deep, as well as not noticable to the naked eye . I think the shower tray was put straight onto chip board floor, with no sand and cement etc, but not certain , shower is only a year old . Seems to be no movement in tray.

Are these hairline cracks anything to worry about , I am concerned they may let water through or are they potentially not deep enough and just cosmetic?

attached is the pictures of cracks

any help would be great

Nobody is going to be able to tell why you have cracking.
It is nothing I've ever seen in in 50 years.
Ask the mfr.
