Gould pump JO5 question

Hopefully an easy question,acquired a Gould pump JO5,This pump in mounted on top of a tank from factory,question is can I remove pump and close off port and just use with my existing tank,the tank on it is fairly rough looking so want to get rid of it.?

You can remove the tank, but you cannot plug the other hole. You will need a shallow well ejector to bolt on there to make it into one pipe.

Been a busy summer,finally took a few pics and hoping I can get rid of tank and use outlet on top

That is a shallow well ejector that is bolted to the front. With that it will work with the one pipe.
