faucet aerator

I have an old faucet that allows water to come out "fast". It had to be replaced - just wore out -1921 house.

Is there any way to modify the new aerator to allow more water. I thought maybe I could drill the hole bigger.

If you remove all the parts but the rubber washers it might work could be a messy spray thou

My old one had a very strong "jet" that would clean my razor of shaving cream and whiskers that were stuck in the blades. Ever doing as you suggest is still lackadaisical.

Meaning our friendly government has dictated how fast fast water can flow from our faucets?

Yes how many gallons per minute, I agree on some aspects,.the more water you put down a drain the less issues you will have,toilets should have never changed from 3.5 GPM,to 1.6 or less
