fairbanks morse/jet pump

i have a jet pump with 2 intakes for deep well, is there anyway to find the conversion kit to make it a shallow well pump and iam also hoping the threads are still good to bolt it on, it also has 2 outlets and a prime plug, can i just plug 1 of the outlets to just run 1 outlet to house,thanks,JRD

I haven't seen a Fairbanks Morse pump in over 35 years. I'm not sure they are even made anymore. Finding a bolt on shallow well jet could be tough. If the pumps suction and discharge on the front of the pump housing are threaded, you could adapt anybodys jet to your pump with pipe if the jet also has threads. Most of them don't.

I'm not sure why the pump has two outlets, but you are going to have to plug one anyhow.

right now it has 2 hose barb fittings in it and iam pretty shure they are threaded, thanks for the idea, iam goin to check, i looked up f/m and they are still around but i dont think they are going to have the correct one anymore,thanks
