Drain/vent piping modifications

As part of a bathroom remodel, a vanity is being replaced with an antique cast iron Singer sewing machine frame. Unfortunately the existing drain pipe comes out the sidewall and runs right into the cast iron frame. I need to remove the last 45 and bring it straight out from the wall, but unfortunately there is no straight section of PVC all the way back to the "Y". As I see it, one option would be cut out the "Y" and use a Fernco fitting on the top (vent) side. I hate to do this as I will likely booger-up the wall on the other side in order to cut out the "Y". Could I cut off the end of the 1-1/2" pipe on the "Y" and still have enough straight-side on the 1-1/2" part of the "Y" for a Fernco? Any other options? Thanks! See attached pic.

i can not tell the size pipe from a computer screen.

buy 2 pro-flex bands i have provided the model numbers for 2 different sizes
buy a 2x2x1 1/2 tee
or 3x3x1 1/2

cut out the wye, and install the tee

buy a 1 1/2 90 degree fitting

if you don't want to use a Sawzall use a (string)saw its a small cable with loops on each end the friction from the cable will cut thru the pvc
