Drain slope on new toilet run

Seems to me you just need to have a 3” running from the vent back to the shower and sink, then use your wye’s to dump into it. Put a vent on the sink and tub, the toilet should be able to connect using a wye, into the main 3” run if you have the room. Then your shower seems close enough that the vent on the vertical stack should work.

But I’m not a plumber!

There are codes for venting distances that you should read up on and how many sinks, toilets etc you can connect to one pipe.

If all drains will be used at the same time, is it going to drain properly.
Also the slopes can’t /shouldn’t be more than the 1/4” p/ft then you’ll have too steep of flow and create water turbulence and the air gap above the flow of water is now filled with water.

Think of pouring a jug of oil into your car, it doesn’t gurgle and splash everywhere when you slowly pour in a steady stream using a slight angle. Once you increase the angle it’s now gasping for air, clogging and spilling everywhere

You should hire a licensed plumber to do this for more than one reason.

I agree and have been in the framing and remodeling industry for 20 years. I’ve delt with those “licensed plumbers” cutting my joists!! Just because your license doesn’t mean you know or do a good job.

Ya know there are other professional forums where only licensed people go, so maybe you should go there.

That is so true. Some seeking help here are looking for simple answers to simple problems.
Some looking for more complicated answers BUT seem to have the ability to ask the right question and weed through the bull$*it answers to proceed with a project.
Then you have those just looking for advice on how to proceed with a projects using professional help or did the pro they hire do the right thing.

Some are way over their head and should seek professional help. Like the OP of this thread.
