My bathroom sink faucet is leaking at the spout, and I couldn't figure out how to get to the washer.

As far as I know, there is usually a retainer screw somewhere, but in this one, I couldn't find any. I was able to unscrew the handle, but didn't see any way to remove the other part. See attached photos.

I also don't know what make and model is the faucet. If someone can identify it, that would help too.

Try turning the cover around the faucet stem counterclockwise with your hand.

So, are you talking about the top part where the handle connects to?

Now, turning that part counterclockwise is the direction that would have turned on the water (the water was shut off, of course). So, are you saying that I should just keep on turning to remove the top part?

Thanks for clarifying.
