Does anyone know what type of bath/shower faucet this is?

I don't have a pic right now. So ill describe it.

It was installed about 15-20 years ago. It's a single handle faucet.

The handle is round. To turn it on, you move the round handle up, and then move it left or right for hot or cold. To turn it off, you just move the handle down.

I've looked online and can't find any thing to this description. Does anyone know?

A picture is needed. For the best chance of identifying it, remove the trim cover plate, handle and take a picture, then remove the cartridge and take side, bottom and top view pictures.

I believe it's a ball style valve.

Maybe. Even probably. Due to OP's very general description we can not tell for sure without a picture. ie: I have a truck with 4 round wheels and 2 doors, what type of truck is it? Need a picture!
