Disposal Drain Slow

Hi all, I'm looking for a little advise.

My house is only 2 years old. Water backs up into the disposal side of the sink when the dishwasher is running. Water is slow to drain when running water into the disposal side of the sink without the dishwasher running. Then it drains fast when the disposal is turned on. Is all this because there is not enough fall in the disposal drain pipe?

Any recommendations on what to do to fix this would be much appreciated.
