Hello!
I bought a small dishwasher and I’m ready to put it in but it seems like the water connection is in a very strange spot. There’s two issues. One the 90° angle required for the braided hose is far too sharp and two the threaded insert isn’t tight enough when it’s in the right location, but I’m unable to rotate it. Another 365° in order to get it tight. I looked for an adaptor that would make this work, but haven’t been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. See the picture below.image.jpg

Take that fitting off, wrap with extra thick Teflon tape, then a bit of plumber's paste. That should get it at the correct angle. Then, add a 90⁰ elbow to connect the supply line as spoken above.

That makes sense! I have had a hard time finding a 90 with the correct male/ female ends.

You don’t need Teflon where I marked in red. Remove the 90, re tape with 3 complete wraps and add a light coat of pipe dope. Any brand will do, don’t put too much. Hand tighten the 90 and then 2-3 complete revolutions and stop with the 90 pointing down.

The stainless connector is fine with that bend.
