Unfortunately that didnt fit correctly. The yellow prong part is too long and doesnt fit into the hot and cold water holes. I measured the temp of the hot water Im getting and its reads 101.2.
You have a first generation rough valve then and No the non pressure balanced cartridges will not fit. You need the old style 13/14 series cartridge. It’ll typically have the lower half of the cartridge made from a blue plastic.

I warned you that if you don’t have a new valve it will not fit. You do not have the updated valve.

I’ll post a regular cartridge that should fit…..

Everything your saying points to replacing the cartridge...sorry.
Definitely seen people install them without cleaning out the body with a little piece of scotch Brite. Take a good look inside and make sure you don't see any rocks/build-up. Then before install open up the integral stops for each supply for a few seconds ds to blow out any calcium/scale deposits. Sometimes the stops itself are the problem with the rubber washers breaking into small pieces and cloggs the brand new cartridge. To the point that I do touch stops anymore. It's either building shutdown or nothing.
Thanks, Possibly the new cartridge that I purchased was faulty so I will replace it with a new one and hope this solves the issue

Thats the valve that I have installed. Its doesnt give out enough hot water with the setting at the far left and the hot water tank set at 140 the shower temp is at 101

There is still cold water mixing at your shower you faucet you are able to turn on just the hot side of push the single handle to the hot side, have you measured the temp to see what your getting at the shower????
Yes, it measures at 1013

Is there a thermostatic mixing valve at the water heater?

The options are you have a faulty cartridge, the cartridge hot limit stop is not properly adjusted, there is crossover somewhere in the system, or there is a tmv that has failed or is not set properly.

What temperature does the hot water get to at other faucets?
