I read, or watch something that stated fiberglass insulation should be placed inside capped off toilet drain. This is related to the methane. Does this sound like it makes sense?
If you are using a permanent cap, no. If you are temporarily capping it, generally guys just stuff some insulation down there or tape over the pipe to help with gasses, but in no way should be permanent
