Can this old tub ever be cleaned?

Hello All, I'm trying to clean this old tub, but it never looks clean, what can I use?

Not sure, it's about 50yrs old, maybe iron/ceramic....

If that doesn't work, there are some great porcelain painters who can recoat that with an epoxy that will last another 30-50 years.

If it's acrylic and not porcelain, elbow grease and non-scratching cleanser. Of course, peel the traction strips off first. If it's cast iron/porcelain, the aforementioned elbow grease and Comet or Bab-O.

Bar Keepers cleaner works great on fiberglass/acrylic for ironrust/red stains as well.
