Hello everyone.

I received a Rheem RTEX-36 as a housewarming present and am finally getting around to installing it. I only have a 200A service but this unit has a max draq of 150A. I can't foresee a time where it would actually draw that much amperage based of my current needs but it has me worried I may pop a breaker at some point. It's too late for me to exchange it for a smaller unit so I am wondering if it's possible to run the unit on only 3 of the 4 chambers if it becomes a problem. Is the unit too smart and will not power on if I don't have all 4 breakers flipped? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
