Im having issues fitting cabinets without wasting alot of space due to the distance between all 3 pipes (outake, cold and hot intake). Im trying to close the gap.
Its a 2 family home. 2nd floor unit is right above with the kitchen in the same space. This is the first floor of my unit with a basement underneath. The layout of the 2 units is the same.

To answer your question, yes, you can modify the piping to get the drain and the cold water and hot water supplies closer together. But where you tie the drain back into your DWV (Drain-Waste-Vent) piping depends on the layout of all the fixtures in your two-family house. Each fixture needs to be properly vented.

You do have some galvanized pipe in your DWV system, that probably should be replaced as you are obviously in the middle of a renovation. So, we need a full sketch with dimensions to give you any specific suggestions.

It can be done...you have to move the vent, drain and water lines to accomodate this location.
