Looking for the technical name for them..... Made of brass and solder on to 3/8" copper tubing. Used for copper supply lines on lavs and kitchen sinks. I want to buy some on line but I can't find them without the proper name.

Try basin tips. That's what we called them. We at one time used them on scrap copper to make lav supplies. I don't think they would be of any savings today because of the cost of labor.

yeah "basin tips" doesn't come up with anything in google, I live down in south florida and we used to use them for the same reason as you. they also came in real handy on commercial jobs and for some kitchen sinks when you needed very long supply tubes.
