Bradford-White Electric Water Heater

have an 80 gallon Bradford that is no longer heating the lower element. the lower element, itself, if ok(12.9 ohms resistance). so, went ahead and bought both the upper and lower Thermostats(was lucky to find them as a combo package on Amazon). Am i going in the right direction to replace both..??

If it’s a 4500 watt element then it’s ohms are correct.

Changing both thermostats is fine. Make sure you wire it up properly and they fit tightly to the tank.
