Whelp, BAD news! I replaced the pump and the dishwasher now works. Nutsolla!! I was really looking forward to dumping this POS and getting that Bosch. Oh well. I can't really justify dumping a 2 year old $1200 dishwasher to get a new one. I did find some stuff in the sump (gunk really) so cleaned it all out. I am running 4 or 5 rinse only cycles to make sure everything is flushed and then I will load it up and see what happens. Going to try a different detergent too. I'll also start adding phosphates regularly. I do have a big box. Might increase my water temp too.

Wow, those things aren't cheap.
I've never had one myself(my wife never wanted one.) but aren't you suppose to scrape of the dishes a bit before loading them in the DW?:p Just teasing.

lol this is a good point. According to the instructions you don't need to rinse/scrape much. But we have been rinsing as much off as we can. I still get this slime everywhere like residue even after only a few loads. These low water usage and lower power consumption dishwashers are pure evil. Give me a 25 year old dishwasher any day they actually clean ****!

Just to close this out, I finally got the replacement tank today. 15 minutes to install (came with all new insides preinstalled). No more leaks! No more going downstairs in the middle of the night to use the commode. I snuck it in and fixed it while the wife was out. When she gets up to go tonight I'll ask her why she doesn't just use the master bath. ROFL! Life is grande!
