My son's house is about 600 feet from the well. Currently, they have really good water pressure! The current water lines are 1.25" PVC from late 70s/early 80s, and we plan to replace them before they fail.
I would not be interested in installing 20 foot joints of PVC! Would like size and material recommendations from professional plumbers.
Side note-- we bought this ranch with this house on it. Nothing, nothing!, they did makes any sense on buildings, plumbing or electrical. The man was a licensed plumber (!!!!) but I daresay he cut too many corners on everything. for instance, buried extension cords to permanently power lights, Barn doorways at 5'5" (ouch), and two nice wells abandoned because the pumps burned up (Probably due to wrong electrical materials)
Thanks to everyone for your input.
