Alright , I'll ask anyway....I have seen this issue bantered about by pro's, semi-pro's and DIY with opinions from a-z.I am still not sure what to do regarding Sharkbites. I have purchased Sharkbites, looked at thousand videos on youtube and all have convinced me that they will work if you carefully follow all the steps. My problem is I want to put one in a rental and am worried that once it's in I can't keep an eye on it for several days to see that everthing is ok and not leaking. My tenant is useless and i cannot depend on her to periodically check the Sharkbite. It will be an angle valve into copper after deburred, (maybe cut), steelwooled and carefully inserted. But if I lived there, I would be checking the connection several times a day for 3-4 days. So if I do it install the SBite how many days should elapse before I can be relatively confident the angle valve (SBite) is ok?????I know there is no magic number of days (or even hours) but I need to ask anyway....as I am a little concerned and maybe a little paranoid and YES I know I can call a plumber which I have done many times but what the hell SBite might just work...Regards, sewergas ......
