Hi there,

I’m working on a bathroom sink drain that is completely stuck. I have used heat, brute strength (as much as I have to give) and a few whacks with a hammer to try and break it loose a little bit to get it moving around. It appears to be threaded into the drain hole. It doesn’t just pop out like many of the videos I’ve seen online. I am replacing the whole underside so it doesn’t have to be in any kind of reusable condition when it comes out. The sink will stay in place and be used again.

The house was built in 1984/85. It is all original hardware.

Any advice on next steps I should try?
